- Hard Disk: Recommended 10,000 or 15,000 RPM 146GB HDDs or bigger; HDD size depends on size of database and software installed
- Memory: 1GB minimum, 2GB+ recommended
- Virtualization: optional, supported
- Windows Server 2003
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Application Server
- Processor: dual-core processor recommended
- Networking: 1 Network card with configured support for TCP/IP protocol
- Hard Disk: 3GB free disk space
- Memory: 512MB minimum, 1GB recommended
- Windows Server 2003
- IIS 6.0
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- Access to a pre-configured SMTP server
NOTE: TariffShark Database and Application server can be run on the same physical or virtual machine.
Client Machines
- Windows XP or Windows Vista
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 (Office Interop libraries must be installed)
Can we run the database and application on 1 server?
- Absolutely. We have combined the database and application server roles int oa single machine for some of our testing and it runs fine.
