Frequently Asked Questions

Will my tariff data stored in TFMS today be automatically loaded into TariffShark?

In a word, yes! For our current TFMS customers, we will provide a data conversion service that will migrate all of your existing tariff history into TariffShark so that you will no longer need to run TFMS at all. We will provide this service shortly after your eTariff baseline tariffs have been filed with FERC and you are using TariffShark on a day-to-day basis. Best of all, there is no charge for this service.

NOTE: With the release of TariffShark release 2.0, TariffShark is ready to be loaded up with historical tariff information from TFMS. We will coordinate this activity. Please feel free to contact our support team if you don't hear from us first.
WARNING: With the release of TariffShark Hammerhead (release 4.0), the loading of historical TFMS data into TariffShark is no longer supported. Therefore, you MUST load your historical TFMS data BEFORE upgrading to Hammerhead.

For all of our customers, TariffShark comes with a utility (called the Baseline Loader) that assists with the loading of the baseline section-based and sheet-based tariffs. There is still some manual work involved, but the bulk of this work is done outside of TariffShark in Microsoft Word. This enables companies who don't have TariffShark installed yet to still be working toward filing their baseline tariffs. You can see the Baseline Loader in action in our "Preparing for TariffShark" screencast.
