We offer virtual private server (VPS) hosting (premium offering) and shared hosting (standard offering).

Under the VPS solution, a customer would have its own database and application servers. Due to software licensing and data center-related costs, this is a pricier solution. However, only customer's users would connect to the server and only customer's data would be stored on the server.

Under the shared hosting solution, a customer would have its own database, but the database would exist on a database server where other customer databases also reside. Customer would have its own application server running, but it would be running on a shared Windows server alongside other customer application servers. Security measures are in place that prevent anyone other than Customer personnel from connecting to the Customer application server and gaining access to data. Likewise, Customer personnel would have access only to their own application server and data.

In either scenario, access to the server from your desktop computers is done over HTTPS/SSL (the same technology that makes it safe to buy merchandise from Amazon over the Internet). Also, every client computer has unique encryption keys, thereby strongly securing the login process.

Love the features but want more control and security? Run TariffShark in your own data center. Take a look at TariffShark Premier as a robust alternative.
